Store Rewards

Many stores use a loyalty incentive card (free not credit) as a way for you to qualify for sale prices as well as rewards.  In some cases it's not necessary to sign up for a card, if you say you forgot it they will just scan a generic one.  Certain stores like grocery stores and drugstores have benefits for signing up and using the card every time you shop there.

For example:
  • CVS Extra Care Bucks are good as cash coupons that get printed when you buy certain items (advertised in the inserts). There are limited amounts of these available to each customer and they are tied to your card.
  • Coupons regularly print out along with your receipt for regular card carrying members that vary from specific coupons for items to generic "$4 off a purchase of $20 or more" coupons.
  • There is a quarterly bonus for Extra Bucks. It's only 2% put when you shop at CVS very often like I do it amounts to once a quarter them printing out a coupon for $30-$40 and handing it to you which is good as cash on your next visit.
  • You receive emails with coupons for $ off of your purchases.
Some stores have Catalina machines (coupons you get which are triggered my items you purchase) like Walgreens "Register Rewards" program is through Catalina.
The majority of free items I get (and when I make money) are with Walgreens RRs. The website iheartwags does an excellent job of explaining how to use RRs to your advantage.  Also check out iheartcvs to learn about ECBs (Extra Care Bucks).
